Recently finished a seven day assignment for the be.Group which runs upper end retirement communities. Originally started as an architectural job but changed on the ground when I arrived. Never had that happen before, and good thing I am strongest at shooting people.
What the client wanted often required a good amount of post production. For instance, they wanted over all shots with their residents in the pictures but choreographing multiple 80-year-old + people so they moved on cue and in sync would not work. So I often shot these over-all shots with one persona at a time then choreographed placement in post using composite and HDR techniques. Additionally we used silks and minimal strobe light to maintain a more natural feel.
