The pinhole camera is the metaphor. A dark box – the artist's mind. The pinhole, a speck of light – the genesis of an idea the artist moves towards as one produces a work of art.
The print is the mirror where the artists are seen in connection with the spaces that inspire them and the work that defines them. The long exposures required in pinhole photography often allows the artist an opportunity to interact within those spaces, collaborating with the creation of the final image.
This is a work-in-progress and I'm currently working with Los Angeles artists. I welcome inquiries and suggestions from and for artists to work with.
