I enjoy the "exploration" process of finding the exact right spot that will engage the viewer into wanting to see and learn more. The graphic detail shots show how using a combination of camera angle, lens and lighting style have helped give my clients strong visuals for their marketing campaigns.
The shots of the Jeep in the woods "sculpture" and the crushed cars were both staged in my studio using real crushed cars and were designed to be a self-promo piece called "cars ... a love hate relationship".
I was fortunate to work with two truly remarkable set designers, Bruce Scharfenberg and Dave Messing. No CGI just old school set design and stock photography. I am in awe of what several hundred dollars of common, everyday building, plant, soil, pottery and spray paint in the right hands can look like.
